GUCCI (hearts) New York

Wow! Today Gucci had the grand opening of their new flagship store. It was truly spectacular! Located at Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue, the new Gucci flagship is the world's largest Gucci store.With a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9am with Creative Designer Frida Giannini, CEO Mark Lee and Donald Trump (hey it's his property) the celebration got off with a bang!

If you didn't get a chance to stop by you missed the limited edition of the 'Gucci (hearts) New York' Bag that was sold exclusively at the store on a first come, first serve basis! And from what I hear it sold out completely on the first day!!!

The celebration started the day before with a star stunned party held on the lawns of the U.N. and hosted by Madonna. Celebrities sightings included TomKat, Ellen Pompeo, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopes & Marc Anthony, Gwen Stafani & Kimora Lee Simmons (to name a few) who paid $2,500 to $10,000 each to dine at this extravagant gala filled with performances by Rihanna, Alicia Keys and Timberland. Their were also auctions held by Chris Rock. The event raised $4m for Malawi orphans and UNICEF.
