RetroJane is Tammy Williams! Growing up in Los Angeles, California she was always fascinated with fashion. She bought her first pair of used Levi's jeans at the tender age of 14 from a thrift store. From that point on, she knew that thrift store shopping was her calling. Soon after, her calling turned from thrift store finds to vintage gems.

She holds a B.A. in fashion Buying & Merchandise and her career background includes retail sales, management and regional merchandising. Prompted by friends and co-workers who always complimented her sense of style she founded RetroJane. "My friends would always tell me how they would love to raid my closet because I always had cool vintage pieces. So I decided to open an online shop & share my love of vintage clothing with everyone. Every item featured on this site are items I would personally wear myself."

She currently lives in New York City and states, "New York is truly the fashion capital of the world. There is such great energy & everyone has their own sense of style mixing Manolo Blahniks & Prada with H&M & Urban Outfitters. I felt the need to be here because this city brings out the best in me!"
